T: WELL SLAP MY NIPPLES AND CALL ME JERRY WE'RE ACTUALLY FUCKING DOING SOMETHING!
Charlotte: Rage. Anger. Two of the strongest and most destructive emotions of a human.
T: Holy shit... Finally... Well, anyway, it's not like you'd know something about that, would you? Neither of you, actually.
Rex: But even with that in mind, you wouldn't expect emotions to be weaponized in the way that today's two fighters did.
T: Well I guess you would know something about it since you're a bigger green ball of anger than the god damn Hulk-
Rex: Shut.
T: Alright.

Backstory
Akuma, since childhood and alongside his brother, Gouken, was taught the ways of combat by Goutetsu. Specifically, the Master taught a life-threatening martial art as well as the Shun Goku Satsu - being a lethal technique that puts the user in danger. Unable to accept the violent nature of his teacher's ways, Gouken left to start his own dojo. However, Akuma stayed, swearing that he would use the martial art as it was intended.
He soon embraced the power of the Satsui No Hado and left Goutetsu's teachings to train himself in martial arts. He embraced the No Hado to its full extent, giving up his humanity in exchange for power. His lust to fight to the death grew stronger and stronger, soon making him come back to Goutetsu - just to kill him in battle. The Master died with a smile on his face, happy to see that his student has surpassed him. Gouki, believing he was a master of the martial art, took the beads of his teacher and placed them on his own neck.
As Gouken returned to visit his former master, he saw the dead Goutetsu in front of his brother. Horrified at what Akuma had become, he criticized him. To which Akuma simply responded by leaving.
Years later, Akuma found and fought his brother, albeit lost, with the Demon calling his brother weak for sparing him. He returned years later, this time emerging victorious. He used the Shun Goku Satsu on Gouken and believed he was dead, but was unaware that he managed to empty his soul to survive the attack. After defeating Ken, who decided to follow him, Akuma disappeared in the shadows. Soon, he learned about various tournaments around the world, searching for a worthy opponent who would kill him in battle.
His attention was directed at Ryu, a wandering warrior. However, unlike with previous opponents, he sensed the Satsui No Hado, the will to kill, inside of the fighter. Setting his goal as making Ryu embrace the Satsui No Hado, Akuma engaged him multiple times, but the warrior kept refusing to give in to his darker side. Akuma, however, knew that it was only temporary.
He has found his perfect opponent.

Physicality
Strength
In the early Udon comics (around the time of Street Fighter Alpha) his Goshoryuken takes Ken out of commission in one attack
Rather famously, in Street Fighter Alpha 2, he punched the ground hard enough to destroy a small island
In Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact he used Kongou Koguretsuzan to split Ayers Rock in half
In Ultra Street Fighter IV he used Sekia Koretsuha to completely obliterate a forest
In Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike he used Demon Armageddon to destroy both a sunken liner ship and a Navy battleship, whilst already sitting on the ocean floor
In Street Fighter V he ultimately killed Gen, whom had proven to be a match for him in the past
In Street Fighter V he uses a presently unknown technique called Mudo Tensho to kill Necalli by making him explode from the inside out
In the Street Fighter manga, Akuma battled with Gouken. Their fight destroyed a mountain. Akuma ultimately killed Gouken by impalement
Also in the manga, his grip was strong enough to break Ryu's hand and he then broke his leg by stomping on it
Also in the manga, he impaled Ryu through the chest with his bare fist
In Tekken 7 he fought Heihachi Mishima, overpowering him throughout a good portion of the fight and ultimately emerging victorious
Later on, he fought Kazuya Mishima, proving to be stronger than his base form and forcing him to tap into the power of the Devil Gene, with which Akuma was evenly matched
Speed
Waits until M. Bison's Double Knee Press is right in front of him before casually dodging
Avoids Gen's Attacks
In the early UDON comics (around the time of Street Fighter Alpha) Akuma easily reacts to, evades, and blocks the attack of Ryu and Ken attacking him at the same time
Blitzed Ryu in their first encounter
Attacks the artificial warrior Seth before he's able to react
Casually reacted to and even blitzed M. Bison in their fight
Kept up with and sometimes even outpaced Seth
Speed is further assisted by the Ashura Senku
Durability
Was punched him through a mountain into an active volcano and had no visible injury, more pissed off than hurt
In the early Udon comics (around the time of Street Fighter Alpha) he's able to no-sell Ryu's Hadoken
In the same comic he rather easily tanked Ryu's Shinku Tatsumaki Senpukyaku
Whether it be the games or the UDON comics, Akuma is frequently seen training or fighting inside an active volcano.
Survived a barrage of attacks from Gen, who can destroy a small shack with a single tap
Even when younger, he is the only person to have survived Gen's Zanei attack
Speaking of Gen, it's pretty apparent that he could kill Ryu in a single strike
In Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike he sits at the bottom of the ocean for an extended period of time with no difficulty
In the Street Fighter manga Akuma survived an attack from Gouken that destroyed a mountain without any severe injury
Also in the manga he tanked Ryu's Denjin Hadoken and the attack had no affect
Also in the manga Ryu straight up blasted a hole through him. And he survived
It's implied that Akuma survived his final encounter with Ryu in the manga, even after being set on fire
In Tekken 7, during his fight with Heihachi, Akuma was hit with his Rage Art (Read: Strongest Attack) and he got right back up with no visible injury and starting attacking again
During his fight with Kazuya, Heihachi had fired a satellite laser on both of them that completely obliterated the G Corporation building; Both Akuma and Kazuya survived
Stamina
More than likely on the Superhuman levels because of constant training and combat
Agility
Can jump tens of meters into the air
Mentality, Intelligence, Skill
Personality
No-Nonsense, Brutal Fighter
Takes his martial arts training very seriously, and he will brutally deal with any who dare to interrupt himHas a cold, negative outlook on life; Somewhat nihilistic
Largely due to the influence from the Satsui no Hado, he will sometimes refer to himself as a "Demon," "Denizen of Hell," or "Evil Incarnate"
Despises hubris, foolish behavior, or those who seek power through means other than their own natural ability
Constantly seeks to improve his power and skill by fighting strong opponents; Often seeks opponents that are strong enough to kill him
Believes that the Satsui no Hado and the dark side of his martial art was the intended way it was supposed to be used. As such he detests his brother Gouken for not embracing it, and wishes for Ryu to give into the Satsui no Hado
Though he has acknowledged himself and his power as evil, he views characters such as M. Bison as a much more abhorrent kind of evil
Possesses a Moral Code
Abides by a moral code; He will often fight opponents solely to test their ability, and he will not kill opponents that he doesn't deem worthyHe will only use his full strength on those who he deems worthy or have the potential to become such
Prefers to fight fairly, as he backed out of a duel with Gen once he realized that Gen was ill
However, over time the influence of the Satsui no Hado has made him more bloodthirsty, and to some extent he may have discarded his moral code
Would not smack a baby
This is important
Loves Bowling
Intelligence
Master in Hand-To-Hand Combat
Has vast knowledge on combat, having mastered his own capabilities and fought dozens of fighters from all around the worldIs seemingly aware of the presence of pressure points
Skill
Expert Martial Artist
Master in the Ansatsuken fighting styleLiterally means "Assassination Fist"
Refers to forms of martial arts made with the intent of killing the opponent
Also seems to combine elements from Karate, Judo and Kenpo
The version used by Ryu and Ken is referred to as "Shotokan," but does not bear much resemblance to real life Shotokan Karate
Akuma has mastered the Ansatsuken in its most lethal form and has basically been training and fighting with it his whole life
He was able to defeat Gouken, another master of Ansatsuken who has been training for about as long as he has
Akuma MovesetUnique Moves
Seoi Nage
A traditional Judo throw. After grappling the opponent Akuma tosses them over their shoulder and slams them into the ground
He can either pull the opponent behind them and throw them forward, or turn around and throw them behind him
Tomoe Nage
A traditional Judo throw. After grappling the opponent Akuma falls backwards in a roll, plants his foot on the waist and applies strong pressure, forcing the opponent above him; The opponent flips over his opponent and lands on his back
He can also twist his body around to throw his enemy in front of him this way
Has a variation where he rolls over his opponent before performing the attack properly
Goshoha
After grappling the opponent Akuma pulls them towards him and takes a step forward, delivering a palm strike to their chest and knocking them down
Powers & Abilities
Literally means "Surge of Murderous Intent"
Still not as good a name as "and diarrhea joke foot"
A form of dark Ki that resides in all mortals, rooted in the darkest aspects of human instinct (such as the desire to survive, trample, and impose over opposition
To tap into its power, one must be so consumed with the desire for victory and perfection, be close to death, or else possess such intense rage and hatred, that they are willing to kill
Akuma has given himself to the Satsui no Hado after extensive use, and his fighting style and abilities tend to be based around its usage
Though he has seemingly given into its power, Akuma still has control over the Satsui no Hado, and he is able to use it without fully losing his humanity
He usually likes to embrace this power to a much lower degree to give his opponents a fighting chance, only going all out on opponents that he deems worthy
Ki Manipulation
The power of the Satsui no Hado allows Akuma to manipulate his dark Ki in any way he desires
He can use this to fire ranged blasts of energy, and often he uses it to enhance his physical strikes
He can manipulate his Ki in such a way as to have it burst forth from his body
Could move or destroy wooden statues with his Ki without even touching or attacking them
Can sense the Ki of others from a long distance; He does this with Ryu a lot
In the Street Fighter manga he could make contact with an opponent, then manipulate his Ki in such a way that he's able to attack the opponent internally
Levitation
To a point, Akuma is able to levitate objects
As shown above, in the Street Fighter manga, Akuma talks with Ryu whilst sitting on a floating piece of stone for some time
Pseudo Regeneration
In the Street Fighter manga, even after Ryu blasted a hole in him Akuma was still standing and able to keep his body held together
It isn't exactly regeneration, but the idea is that Akuma can still remain active for a time even if his body is torn apart
However, this doesn't seem to be an ideal scenario for Akuma, as the Satsui no Hado can take advantage of this and take over his body
In Tekken 7 Akuma's ascended state, Shin Akuma, is able to gradually regenerate his health. In that sense, he does have a healing factor of a sort
Possession (kind of)
In Ultimate Rugal's ending in Capcom vs. SNK 2, the Satsui no Hado deems Rugal too weak to control its power, and thus it takes control of him
The voice in his head says "Not strong enough to control my power." This implies that Akuma was the one who deemed Rugal too weak
This is a bit of a situational ability but what it means is this: If one were to absorb Akuma's power (possibly to the point of killing him), the Satsui no Hado can decide whether or not their mind is powerful enough to control its power. If they aren't, they will possess the opponent, and create a being that is essentially merged with Akuma. Thus Akuma may live on through whomever absorbed his power
Alternate Forms
Akuma Alternate Forms
Shin Akuma
Also known as "Shin Gouki"
This is a form that Akuma takes when he taps into the full power of the Satsui no Hado within him (or at least as much as he can while still retaining his humanity)
In Street Fighter canon this is considered Akuma's most powerful "natural" form (meaning form he can access of his own accord). Essentially, it's Akuma when he's not holding back
This is the form that he used to defeat his old master, Goutetsu
Power Buffs:
In SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos Shin Akuma splits the ocean apart with a single strike
In Capcom Fighting Evolution he exited Earth's atmos
Feats
Killed his master, Goutetsu
After originally losing to Gouken, returned after a few years and put his brother in a coma using the Shun Goku Satsu
Defeated Ken, who chased after him after the defeat of Gouken
Defeated Gen, although he was sick at the time
After fighting Ryu, destroyed the very island they were fighting on
Easily defeated Adon, a skilled user of Muay Thai
Defeated Guy, a ninpō master
Engaged M. Bison in combat and defeated him, destroying his soul with the Raging Demon
Fought Ryu again, this time dominating throughout the fight
Was forced to flee after Ken interruptedFought Gen yet again, this time winning in a fair fight, seemingly killing him
Stomped and destroyed Necalli, a mysterious creature that searches the world for souls to devour
Necalli did manage to absorb Akuma, but the Demon destroyed him from the insideFought Ryu again, this time defeating him with nobody to interrupt
Easily beat Sean Matsuda and Gill not long after
Fought Oro, a 140-year old hermit, with the fight ending in a draw
In Capcom: Fighting Revolution, destroyed a meteor that was a threat to the Earth while in Shin form
In Tekken 7 defeated Heihachi after a long battle and later on defeated Kazuya, forcing him to enter his Demon Form
Constantly searches the globe for a worthy fighter
Weaknesses
Doesn't use his full strength right away, and only stops holding back against an opponent he deems "worthy"
Moral code prevents him from fighting opponent's that are especially sick or wounded
Moral code prevents him from fighting opponent's that are especially sick or wounded
The Raging Demon can be survived or even avoided entirely if certain conditions are met
As Oni he lacks the finesse of a master warrior like Akuma, preferring to fight more savagely

First Appearance: God of War (22nd of March, 2005)
Full/Real Name: Kratos
AKA: The Ghost of Sparta, God Slayer, White Warrior, Fallen God, Cursed Mortal
Height: Unknown
Weight: Unknown
Age: Unknown, likely mid-30s
Gender: Male
Species: Demigod
Place of Birth: Sparta, Greece
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Affiliation: Himself
Occupation: Formerly General, Currently God Slayer
Backstory
Born in Sparta, Greece, Kratos was taught to be the best warrior he can be since childhood alongside his brother Deimos, who was later kidnapped by Zeus in the fear that he would be his demise.
As he grew up, he didn't let the loss of his brother slow him down. He quickly climbed the ranks of the Spartan military, becoming a general in no time. From the original 50 men, his army grew to thousands of soldiers. With his army and Spartan training, he conquered army after army, his thirst for power growing with each victory. However, the winning streak soon came to an end as the Spartans encountered the Barbarians of the east.
The Spartans were being butchered, slaughtered mercilessly by the overwhelming numbers of the enemy. Kratos himself challenged the army's king, but was left begging for his life... However, he was not begging the king. He was begging Ares. The God of War. As Kratos swore to give his life to the God, he stepped down from the heavens, killing the Barbarian army and giving Kratos the Blades of Chaos, allowing him to kill the Barbarian King. Swearing his allegiance to Ares, Kratos would soon become the greatest warrior Greece has ever seen.
Under the God of War's service, Kratos became a monster. He lost compassion and most of his humanity raiding villages and slaughtering Ares' enemies. But, on one of the raids, Ares betrayed him. As the Spartan cut down every villager in sight, he failed to notice that two of them were his very wife and daughter - whom Ares secretly transported from Sparta. Ares justified this as severing the warrior's ties to the world in order to make him stronger. But Kratos had enough. With the ashes of his family covering his body, turning it completely white, the newly-crowned Ghost of Sparta swore revenge upon the God of War.
Nothing would stand in his way to vengeance.

Damnit... I want Akuma to win, but my gut tells me Kratos stomps...
